What is creativity but linking patterns to make something new?

Finding and establishing what you can perceive and measure, and then figuring out how to make multiple factors or concepts work together is at the heart of design.  It’s the foundation of building systems.

Merging forms, intersecting lines, juxtaposition, comparing and contrasting, it’s all play.  Learning to compose is a key skill and it’s about balancing the parts and pieces to create a cohesive whole.  It’s not as simple as just collecting what’s needed and putting them together.

You need to have someone tie the threads together.  This is the role of the designer.
