Peter Drucker has been credited with saying “culture eats strategy for breakfast”. There’s no doubt that an organization’s culture can have a greater impact on the growth of a company than a well thought out strategy.

Whether or not a company grows, stagnates, or suffers losses can be dependent upon the extent to which the organization’s culture supports a company’s strategy.

Are the behaviors and values of your employees aligned with your strategy? Are they actively working to build the necessary relationships with their customers and peers that will enable people to develop new opportunities? Are leaders communicating with people at all levels of the organization or only within a closed group?

Are your employees aware of your strategy?
