As a result, they often have a significant influence on the products and services that we use on a daily basis. While some cool hunters work for large companies or marketing firms, others operate independently, sharing their findings with the world through social media or blogs.

Hiring a cool hunter for your work is likely unrealistic because their work is broad and may not have much relevance to what you specifically do.

You can, however, take time to step away from your work to take in the big picture.
