Innovation often lies in the unexplored corners of familiar territory.

When you revisit old processes, you can open yourself up to new perspectives. Along the way, you may also uncover opportunities for improvement and growth that you never knew existed.

Even if it feels like a detour or a waste of time, taking the time to explore other options can lead you to greater success in the long run.

A favorite exercise of mine is to enable new people in an organization to think about ways to improve what we’re currently doing. It’s tough to maintain growth when “we’ve always done it this way” is a standard answer.
