The routine is the key

Writing isn’t easy. Although, it can get easier.

There was a period of time where I blogged over 400 days in a row. I took a break when I was traveling or not able to access the internet. However, I came back to it refreshed and ready for more. The most recent stretch was approximately 300 days long. The more I wrote the more the ideas flowed.

That’s one of the interesting aspects of creativity–it can flow. But to get to that point you need to do it on a regular basis. A routine certainly helps.

The process of developing a new solution can often lead to even more ideas. Some may be relevant, others may not. Finding what you need requires an open mind because the solutions may not always come in the form you expect.

There’s potential for creativity in everyone. You need to find what works for you to stimulate it. I work best when I follow a routine and when I’m writing every day.

The routine is the key.
