The creative path is not clearly defined, nor is it obvious. Like many things in life, it is what you make it. Being creative can take many forms, but the important thing is that you strive to be consistent.

The generation of new ideas stems from being put in a position to generate, well, more ideas. Frequent practice leads to frequent ideas. The best work can often come when you least expect it as your mind makes connections between seemingly unrelated thoughts, experiences, or concepts.

Even though the path to what’s next may not always be visible, the best creatives know that it is there and that it is just a matter of time until the way reveals itself. More importantly, when you are actively involved in the creation of the present, the future will tend to take care of itself.
