The pressure to create can drive people to new heights or the edge of despair. Which way you go depends on whether or not you can step forward and take chances. People don’t really know what’s coming next, but they can make an educated guess by interpreting what they see, hear, or feel, and are able to make adjustments while on the move.

I have often found that it’s not an idea that is bad, but rather that it hasn’t been fully explored and carried far enough to see if it is a viable solution. Brilliant solutions often emerge over time as people study how to maximize it’s effectiveness and balance it’s function with aesthetic appeal.

Pressure can build ideas up and tear them down, but what emerges on the other side of the creative process can and should elevate people as a whole.
