Many people talk about making an impact. They may want to be involved with something that is meaningful or career changing. Or people may want to provide real value to those in need or solve a social problem. 

But few choose to take the first step to getting involved because it involves the unknown and the ability to work with people. Being able to organize people is a critical skill if you want to make an impact.

The simple transfer of an idea from one person to the next needs to happen clearly and effectively. 

Design skill can only carry you so far. If you can’t communicate your thoughts, you will have a tough time selling your ideas.
