I have a notebook full of ideas. I have acted on some of them, sketching pictures or diagrams about how to transform a thought into reality, and others have been left behind waiting to be uncovered at a point in the future. Each of those ideas is a possibility.

I view every person I meet, every text or email I send, and each step I take also as an opportunity for action. However, the best opportunities are often hidden from view and require effort to uncover them.

The tough part is making the mental connection with how you can take that encounter and create a mutually beneficial relationship at some point in the future. That is the art of creative leadership.
